SYDNEY’S FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

Thrqp representatives of tho Vienna Butchers* Association have been visiting Sydney to make arrangements for regular shipments of moat to Austria. Australian frozen meat is already largely consumed in Austria, and some time ago an enterprising timber merchant entered into contracts with the principal wholesale butchering establishments to supply thorn with Australian meat. • The supplies proving insufficient to meet tho demand, the contractor raised tho prices, which butchers resented, and, as a result, combined to send delegates to Australia to arrange for constant supplies at a uniform price. Tho delegates express themselves as highly pleased at tho result of their enquiries, and aro confident that a large trade will be opened up. They have completed arrangements for shipments for extensive consignments within the next few weeks, and it is their intention to visit Queensland and make similar arrangements,
