The Unions defeated the Jewellers yesterday by six wickets and 04 rune. The Jewellery, batting first, compiled 72 (Littlejohn, 21; Gorrand, 14; Gordon, 11). Lowe, six for 37; and Billman, three for 0, bowled best for the Unions, who scored 166 for four wickets (Lowe, 83 out; Howe, 43; Day, 18; Billman, 11), Dixon being the most successful bowler for the Jewellers with two Tha A team of the United Tradesmen beat thei” B team in their match for tbeWcaiitfiduv f’h impionsbio, at tbe Basin Reserve ye-t-vday *f-ern-on. by 19 inns on tbe f r«b iiminjs.
