By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 13. At tho Auckland Contain; Club's Meeting, tbe Great Northern Challenge Stakes was won by Mr Taylit’s Luck’s All, tho runner-up being Discard. Mr Whiting’s Guy Fawkes won the Occidental Stakes, beating Ascot. The Maiden Stakes was won by Bangle, lady Mack being tho rnnnor-np.
The Winter Meeting of the Johnsonville and Hntt County Trotting Club is announced to bo hold at Johnsonville on July 23rd. Nominations close on July 4th; handicaps appear on 11th July; and acceptances are dno on 18th July. Tho probable programme will be:—Trial Handicap, 10 sots ; Pony Eaoo (handicap), of 10 boys ; Handicap (saddle), of 15 sots ; Selling Pace (saddle or harness), 15 sots ; Johnsonville H. C. Trotting Club Handicap (harness or saddle), 20 soys; Electric Handicap (saddle or harness), 10 sots. The club have no totalisator permit for the meeting. The Wellington Booing Club • advertise their Winter Steeplechase and Hunt Clnb Mooting (combined) for Wednesday and Saturday, July 22nd and 25th.
