The Coolgardie Syndicate has received a cablegram from Messrs Goodall and Firth* stating that they have found a new parallel reef at the 80ft level, carrying gold throughout. ■ A Prospecting and Flotation Association has been formed, and a committee appointed to arrange preliminaries. Six candidates were admitted to the Sharebrokers’ Association to-day, at a fee of .£3OO each. ■ , ' Perth, October 15. A splendid lode, full of tine gold, has been struck in the Australia mine,' one of the Coolgardie gr6up, at .a, depth of 40ft. It is of fine formation; aridr.eyery bit carries gold. Good gold has, also been ,-struck in sinking the shafts of Oroya West and Queen of the West mines. From Cue comes nows of a discovery of a sensational character near Mount Magnet. The specimens are extremely rich, and the gold runs in coarse strings through the stone.
