SUDDEN DEATHS.

The sudden death of Mrs Watkins, of - Banks terrace, was reported to the Coroner by the police. yesterday. As there is no " donbt that death resulted from bronchitis, an inquest is not considered necessary. Mrs LUzabeth Anderson, wife of Alexander Anderson, Normanby terrace, died suddenly yesterday. Deceased was seen by Miss i; Mabfle about 10, o’clock yesterday, and half ah hour later she complained of feeling unwell. She laid down on the bed and expired almost immediately. As there is every reason to believe that, death was dne te. apoplexy, tho Coroner does not consider an,inquest necessary.

Apr. i ' CasiSTCHUECH, August 7. Alfred Scott, an old resident of Akaroa, who arrived in the Colony: in. 1838, died suddenly from apoplexy to-day. An elderly woman, Mrs Sherwin, died suddenly yesterday at a boardinghouse in Durham street, where she wont only the previous afternoon.
