OBITUARY.

Mrs Wynn-Williams, wife -of a former well-known athlete, Mr .Wynn-tVilliams, at present in the,, employ of the Harbour Board; died yesterday of pneumonia, after a short illness. . The deceased was a daughter of Mr Aubrey, ; late , Resident Magistrate at, Whangarei, and,a, sister-in-law of Mr E. Thompson, M.H.E. . She was 33 years of ago. Mrs Williams leaves two children. Miss Jane Douglas, daughter of Mr William Douglas, a,, well-known and highly respected settler,* South road, Hawera, died on Monday,- aged 42 years. A. E. Parker, an Auckland athlete, who won the Quarter-mile Handicap at the last athletic meeting in that city, is dead.. Ho was only 21 years of-age.
