Poneke, Petone. Owing to the hud weather yesterday the match Wholesale v. Retail had to be postponed. Tho Referees’ Association decided on Tuesday night to strictly adhere to the letter of rule 17 governing cup contests, which says that all matches played in town shall start at 3 p.m., and those played out of town at 3.15 p.m. The team unwilling or unable to go on with the game when the referee blows his whistle shall be adjudged to have lost the match by default.
