Sir Charts Tapper is applying to the Admiralty to subsidise the steamers which are to ran between Canada and Australia, as Imperial cruisers. Auckland, April 12. The Harbour Board considered a proposal to remit all dues on the Vancouver mail steamers should they call here. The mini* bora were averse to each ft courto, aa l ultimately it was resolved to place the steamers on the same fooling afi those in the San Ftanchdo setvltie.
