ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(PRKB3 ASSOCIATION.) Dcnkdin, April 11. Alex, Dnrward, a Qaxmiiler at Heriot, reoeivetl fatal injuries yesterday through being caught by the sleeve of hla coat in the flax dressing machine. CjjßisTcamiciT, April 11. At 7.16 a.m. to-day, Hubert Kollo, staying at the A 1 Hotel, committed auioide by shooting himself with a revolver. He placed the weapon in bis mouth, and the ballet went through his brain and skull into the partition of the water-closet, where the act was committed. Kollo is supposed to have been about 30 years of age, and is seld to have been well connected at Home. He waa given miiob to diink, and was suffering from its effects at the time of the tragedy. Hokitika, April 11. A Chinaman was killed by the falling of earth in his claim at Waimoa yesterday evening.
