THE ELECTIONS.

Mr London’s Pitone Committee assembled in strong force in the uddfellows’ Hall, Pitone, on Friday evening. It was decided, utnoug other important business, that Mr London should address the electors at the Lower Hutt next Thursday evening, the ball being already engaged for Wednesday. Three more electors were added to the roll of committeemen.

Mr McLean addressed a meeting at Wadostown on Friday evening, Mr Dormer being in the chair. After a speech ic which the candidate maintained the single tax in opposition to the Premier’s manifesto, a vote of thanks and confidence was passed, on the motion of Mr Mulligan, seconded by Mr Tront.

Ur Bell addressed a large meeting at Kaiwbara on Friday evening, Mr Wilson Littlejohn being in the chair. At the conclusion of the address a vote of thanks was passed to Mr Bell, on the motion of Mr J. Holmes, seconded by Mr Wainwright. Mr Izard will address the electors at the Public Hell, Johnsoaville, on Thursday evening next, at 8 p.m. Dr Newman addresses the electors at tho schoolroom, Tawa Flat, oo Friday, at 8 p.m. In'the course of his address to the electors at Masterton on Monday last, Mr G.
