! Mowbray moved that the head master of the' Central School (Mr Watson) be called in and asked to give his opinion, but was ruled out of order. Weight, proprietor of the Occidental Hotel, was yesterday badly bitten by a crossbred (mastiff and retriever) dog which was chained up at Mr Weight’s private residence in College street. ° The boy, it appears, was heedlessly passing the kennel when the animal, which has since been destroyed, sprang upon him and severely injured his hand.
