LATE SPORTING.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, April 15. A Christchurch owner who signed the “ round robin ” at the time of tho Exhibition Race Meeting, having asked for an inquiry into the allegations against the handioapper, and Mr Dowse haying made similar application, a committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club will meet on Friday to consider the matter. Christchurch, April 15. Forty-eight nominations have been received for the Canterbury Champagne Stakes, 1890. This is ten fewer than last year, but most of the prominent owners are represented.
