EDUCATION BOARD.
(per press association.) Napier, April 15. Mi Ormond was to-day re-elected chairman of the Education Board, a position he has held since the Board was called into existence. The building vote not being sufficient to extinguish the overdraft, even with a special grant of £IOOO, the Board decided to divert £6OO from the general fund, and to raise an overdraft of £9OO to provide sufficient funds to meet urgent requirements.
