Kaikoura leaves Lyttelton this ■ afternoon, and is expected here about 8 o’clock to-morrow morning. The Kaikoura leaves finally for England on next Thursday. The U.S.S, Co’s ss Mawhera left Greymouth at 8 pm on the 16th, and arrived here v>a Nelson, at 8.15 am yesterday. She returns toGlenlora, barque, bound from Nelson to Oamaru, passed through the Strait yesterday. The ss Moa, from Westport, arrived here at mid-day yesterday. She sailed last evening for Foxton. The ss Maitai left Westport at 8,40 pm on the 17th inst, and arrived here at 12.15 am yesterday, having experienced light variable winds throughout. She returns to-day. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Rotorua left Onehunga at 4.20 pm on the 16th, and arrived here, via New Plymouth, Nelson, and Picton, at 11,50 am yesterday. She left for Lyttelton yesterday afternoon. ~ „ The U.S.S. Co’s ss Waihora left Melbourne at "6 pm on the 9th inst, Hobart on the 11th, Bluff on the 15th,'Dunedin on the 17th, and Lyttelton at 5 pm on the 18th, and arrived here at 8 am yesterday. She experienced fine weather throughout the passage. The Waihora left for Sydney, via Northern ports last evening.
