Go’s ss Hawea left Port Chalmers at 6.30 pm on the 10th inst., and arrived at Lyttelton at 12.30 pra on the 17th, »ailed again at 9 pm, and arrived here at 12.45 pm yesterday. She experienced light winds and line weather The Hawea left for Northern ports last evening. The ss Waverley left Nelson at 9 pm on the 17th, and arrived here at 8 30 am yesterday, after a fine passage. She left for Patea, via Nelson, yesterday afternoon. , The ss Stonnbird, from Wanganui, via Picton, arrived here at 6.45 last evening, having left Picton at mid-day yesterday. She had ■fine weather during her run across the Strait, The ss Maori left Greymouth at 7 am on the 17th, and arrived here at 5 last evening. She experienced fine weather throughout the passage. She returned at midnight.
