TWO CHILDREN BURNT TO DEATH.
Dunedik, November 18,
A horrible occurrence has happened at Currie’s farm, Swinburn, three miles from the Lower Tjeburu, In the Mauiototo Conotj, This forenoon, about 10 o’clock, William Currie and hi? father, who were working about a mile from Nell Currie’s hoasj, saw smoke rising, and at once rushed to the house. They found it enveloped in dames. The two daughter* of Neil Oarrio, aged seven and two, were missing, and their remains were found in the ashes, Previous to the fire only the two children had been in the house, the father and mother being absent in another district,
