The widest latitude consistent with good taste will be extended to correspondents, but tho slightest approach to scurrility or personality will stamp correspondence as unsuitable for insertion. Theological deputation is also to be deprecated. Anonymous correspondence will be rejected. Subscribers who do not receive their papers regularly are requested to at once communicate with The Manager, in order that the fault may be rectified Letters relating to Advertisements and to the Commercial Department should be addressed to The Manager. Adherence to this rule is earnestly requested. Birth, marriage and death notices, sent in by persons not having a current account with us. must be paid for in advance, or they will not bo inserted. The cost Is 2s 6d per notice,
