FEATHERSTON.
(FROM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.) September 25. The members of the Featheraton Jockey Club held a meeting, at the Oddfellows’ Hall, on Saturday evening (Mr J. T, Hoddor, Chairman), when the following officers were appointed to act for the ensuing year Judge, Hr W. O. Williams ; Secretary, Mr J. T. Hodder ; Treasurer, Mr O. McShane; Stewards, Messrs A. Miller, J. T. Hodder, A. Campbell, W. M. Brunskill, John McKenzie, and J. Locker, Mr McShane, in the course of a few remarks, stated that the Clnb had sustained a severe loss since last year, through the death of one of its chief patrons—Mr B. Hodder. A cordial vote of thanks to the Chairman terminated the meeting.
