Auction, This Day —Laery and Campbell hold their regular market sale of produce, fruit (including 450 cases of oranges), groceries, etc., at 11 a.m.; at the same time will be disposed of, piano, etc. At 2 p,m. they hold their weekly sale of horses, drays, etc., at the Sag’s Head Yards. Auction, This Day.—Francis Sidey and Co. auction, at 1 p.ra., nearly opposite the Arcade, goods in the bankruptcy estate of Taylor and Co. Auction, This Day.—George Thomas sells, at 10 a.m., fruit, &c., ex ’VVakatipu and Wanaka. In Bankruptcy.—lt is notified that W. S. Thompson intends to apply for an order of discharge. Electoral.—Mr W, B. Edwards addresses the electors of South Wellington at the Arcade this evening. Mayoral Election. —Mr W. Hutchison expresses his thanks to those who supported him at the recent Mayoral election. New Zealand Engineer Corps.—The new uniforms will be issued to-day. A Church parade is ordered for to-morrow.

Tenders.—The Public Works Department invites tenders for additions to Cross’ Creek Station. | City Council.—The Town Clerk publishes & bylaw altering the Building Regulations, Golden Crown Goldmining Company.—A meeting of shareholders is advertised for Monday, Theatre Royal.—The Australian Specialty Company, with Mr Leake, appears this evening in “Mf Partner M and a burlesque on “Macbeth."
