She left tha Sandridgo railway pier at 3 p.m, on tho 14th, cleared Port Phillip Hoad at 7 p.m. tho same day; passed Wilson's Promontory at 4.30 a.m. on the 15th, with light variable weather, which continued until passing tho Solanders at 10.30 a.m. on the 10th; from thence brisk westerly breezes until arrival at the Bluff at 5 p.m. on the 15th; left again at 5 p.m- on the 20th, passed Otago Heads at 6 a.m. on tho 21sl, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 0 a.m. the same day ; cast off from tho wharf at 4 p.m., cleared tho Heads at 4.30 p in., made Lyttelton Heads at 0-5 a.m. tho next morning, and reached the wharf at 10.30 a.m.; left again at 4.50 p.m. on tho 23rd, and arrived hero ns above. Fine weather was experienced during the run from Otago. Wo thank Mr. McKillop, purser, for flies, &c. The steamer Lyttelton, from Nelson via D’Urville Island, arrived in harbor yesterday morning. She loft Nelson on Wednesday afternoon, and experienced fine weather across. She left again last night for Otaki, Tho Southern Cross, from tho North, left yesterday afternoon for tho South. Tile steamer Huia left last evening for Wanganui. Tha steamer Talaroa, with a largo number of passengers, left yesterday afternoon for the Manukau, via Intermediate ports. Tile steamer Wanaka is duo hero this morning from Auckland via tha East Coast. Sho sails again lor tho South during the afternoon. The steamer Go-Ahead loft last evening for Wanganui. The steamer Rangatlra, from her usual Napier and Poverty Bay trip, arrived in harbor at lo o’clock yesterday morning. She loft the latter place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and arrived here as above; She leaves here again on Saturday at 5 p.m., and arrives in Gisborne on Tuesday, which will enable passengers to see the Poverty Bay races on Wednesday and Thursday. Sho loaves Gisborne on Monday, 3rd February, and will arrive in Wellington the day before our races take place. Tho open sailing-boat Toy, which took the open boat sailing race hero and at the Lyttelton Regatta, left by the steamer Talaroa yesterday for Auckland, where sho has entered for the regatta which takes place on tho 29th instant. The Stormbird leaves hero on Saturday evening for Wanganui. Tho Jane Douglas, for Foxton, leaves on Monday.
