She left Poverty Bay on Tuesday, reached Napier tho following morning, left again the same day, and arrived hero after a good ran of 21 hours. The steamer Lyttelton left Blenheim on Wednesday afternoon, and arrived in harbor early yesterday morning. Tho steamer Kennedy left Nelson at 0 o clock on Wednesday night, and arrived at the wharf at 9 a.m. yesterday. She leaves again to-day. Tho steamer Lyttelton left last night for Blenheim. Tho ship Pleiades commenced discharging her cargo yesterday, and is expected to get quick despatch. All her sails are sent below, and everything made snug on deck. She will load here for London. Tho Charles Edward loft last night tor Nelson and tho West Coast. The steamer Napier, from Blenheim, arrived at noon yesterday. Sho returns to the same port at 10 o'clock to-night. Tho steamer Talaroa loft yesterday afternoon for the Northern ports. Tho steamer Mnnawatu, for Wanganui, left shortly before 5 o’clock last evening. The steamer Rangatlra reports passing tho barque Adamant off Palliser early yesterday morning. Tho barque is from London, bound to Napier and has a number of Government Immigrants on board. The steamer Hula left last night for Wanganui. The barque Anno Melhnlsh cleared the Customs yesterday for Newcastle, and wilt probably get away to-day. Tho steamer Taupo, from Auckland via the East Coast, will arrive this morning. The steamer Arawata, from Melbourne via the Southern ports, is duo here this morning. She sails for Nelson the same evening. Tho steamer Go-Ahead came off the Patent Slip yesterday. Since being there she has been thoroughly overhauled. Two now propellers have been fitted, likewise a new shaft. Her rig has been somewhat altered. Tho yards from her foremast have been done away with, and sho Is now fore and aft rigged. She left Huon River on the 28th ult., and up to the 31st experienced heavy W. and S,W. gales ; from thence to the 3rd instant, light and unsettled weather till arrival off Capo Farewell on Monday hist, and then had two days calms ; on Wednesday night the weather was very thick, with the wind blowing all around tho compass, commencing from the W.B. W. and ultimately settling to the N.W.; towards midnight the wind increased, and at daylight sho managed to beat in under double-reefed mainsail. She is a very fast sailer, and like most of tbe vessels from Hobarton carries a centre-board. Sho is for sale or charter.

On Christmas Day the sailors on board the ship Pleiades presented Captain Setter with an address, wishing him and Mrs, Setter the compliments of the season. Tho Now Zealand Shipping Company's ship Loleu cleared the Customs at Auckland, for London, last week.
