It is our painful duty to announce the sudden death of A. C. M’Donald, Esq., Manager of the Union Bank of Australia, Wellington. Mr. M’Donald, who previously had been in good health, was seized suddenly on Saturday evening, with an attack in the stomach which terminated fatally on Monday morning. The melancholy event has caused a very general, feeling of sorrow, as Mr. M’Donald by his amiable quiet manners and high character hod secured the good will and regard of all classes of the community.
