The City of Melbourne and the Moa arrived this morning from Auckland, having been chartered to convey the head quarters of the 65th Regt, from Wellington to Auckland. The trial of Henry King, jun , and Susan King, his mother, for having wilfully set fire to the premises known as the Old and New Osprey, (where the late disastrous fire at Auckland commenced.) terminated in a verdict of Nbt Guilty, the foreman on delivering the verdict explaining that the Jury thought there was not evidence sufficient to convict. We observe no other local news of importance.
