Tub ship John M’Vicar, 048 tons register, William Allen, commander, sailed from Ply mouth on the fitli August, 1857, and arrived in Wellington on the 12th November, 1857, having made the passage in 07 days. She left alter the barque Gleaner and ship jlshbuiton, neither of which vessels have arrived here yet She brings out almost a full cargo for this Port, having only about 25 tons on board for Nelson; °l ? o, 7 cabin, 4 second cabin, and 11 steerage passengers for Wellington ; and 25 cabin, I f second cabin, and 4 steerage passengers, for Nelson. Four deaths occurred, all children; and a seaman named George Buckman fell overboard during a gale of wind. She hud a 'cry fine run out, and the passengers speak in lhe highest terms of the captain, doctor, anil Ibe treatment they received. This splendid "liip is one of Mes'rs.
