Explanation.—The first column I gives the greatest cold of the previous night. The column B gives the height of the Barometer. The column C gives the amount of cloud ranging from 1-10. The column Fof W gives the force of the wind, roughly estimated—lo as before is.tlie highest number used. T. dry gives the height of the Thermometer in the shade. T. wet gives the height of a wet bulb Thermometer. M gives the amount of moisture in a cubic foot of air, 1.000 being the number for saturation. R gives the amount of rain in inches.
