Plans of a new Primitive Methodist Church, to be erected on the street frontage before the present structure in Donald McLean street, have been prepared by Messrs Maisey and Johns, and approved. The building will follow on the lines of those in general practice for small churches. The front elevation will have three gable terminals, the centre one of which will be surmounted by an ornamental tower, and the other two by miniature turrets. The main entrance wall consist of two flights of concrete steps, leading on either side to a portico, which, will give entrance to the main building by swing doors. Stained glass Gothic windows in the front will lend the desired effect, both from an interior and exterior view. The building, 'which will seat four hundred people, has a frontage of 42ft by a deni -*vf 60ft.
