NEW ZEALAND FOX TERRIER CLUB
The annual meeting cf the New Zealand Fox Terrier Club was held last Wednesday, Mr E. Webster presiding. The annual report congratulated members on the sound financial position of tile club. There had been an increase of members during during the year, the roll now standing at 49. The club’s North and South Island shows, held in conjunction with Napier and Dunedin were distinct successes, the judges, Messrs J. 0. Couper and A. Clifford Bramah, expressing gratification at the class and standard of excellence shown. The following gentlemen were thanked for donations, etc., to the clubs funds and prizelist: Messrs Paul Hunter £3 3s; G. It. Hutchinson £2 2s, W. H. Gothorpe £2 2s, AV. B. Hall £1 Is, J. Hindmarsh £1 Is, L. Ryan £1 Is, B. H. Neill £1 Is, R. H. Sheppard lfts, fancier 7s 6d, B. AVebster two gold medals, and AA T . A. Smith one gold medal. The financial statement showed a bank balance of £23 14s 6d. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr G. R. Hutchins-on; president, Mr E. Webster (re-eiected); vice-presidents, Messrs J. F. Mills (reelected), AV. B. .Hall, Paul Hunter, T. Hides, B. 11. Neill, and A. B. Manson; delegates, Messrs C. H. St. Hill and .T. AA r cbster; auditors, Messrs J. AVebster and S. E. Harrop (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr E. W, Vcsseler (re-elected); hon. secretary, Mr J. F. Fitzgerald (reelected).
