The morning was occupied with a stroke handicap match for a cup presented by Mrs G. P. Donnelly. The following are the scores: —Aliss Campbell (Christchurch), handicap 5, net 93; Aliss F. A capital game between Aliss Rutledge and Airs Saunders was very even, the two ladies being all square at the eighteenth hole. An extra hole was played. Aliss Rutleuge winning. Another close game was between Miss Stevenson and Miss Scott, the former winning by 1 up at the eighteenth hole. Aliss Lewis, playing her usual fine game, beat Miss Wilson by five up and 3 to play. Mrs W. E. Bidwill played a wonderfully good game against Miss James, whose form in the previous rounds had been very good. Airs Bidwill won by 5 up, with 4 to play. There was a large number of spectators to witness the final for the championship which was played by Aliss Lewis (Auckland) the present champion, and Aliss Stevenson (New Plymouth). A splendid game, in which some capital play was shown on. both sides, resided in victory for Miss Stevenson by 1 up at the eighteenth hole. A driving competition, for which there were thii'ty-nine entries, was held, Miss Campbell (Christchurch) winning with a drive of 145yds. Aliss Gonld (North Otago) was second with 144yds and Miss Hannay (Wairarapa) third with 142yds. There were forty-nine entries for the approaching and putting competition. In the first round, twelve tied for first place. In the second round, the number was reduced to six, and in the final Mrs Bidwill (Wairarapa) won, with Miss Harcourt (Wellington) second.
