The selection committee —Messrs Noble, Darling and McLeod—has now made its choice of the fourteen men to comprise the Australian team which is to tour New Zealand and England. Gehrs, South Australia. P. ML. Newland, South Australia. SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, January 9. The inter-State cricket match between South Australia and New South Wales was continued to-day. The visitors’ second innings yielded 185—Pellew 53. Colter took seven wickets for 77 runs and Hopkins two for 35. In their second innings the home team have lost three wickets for 170 —Trumper 76, Waddy (not out) 43.
