Laurenson, M.H.R.. has.-form-ed a high opinion of the possibilities of the Auckland district, where delivering addresses on the land qua. tion H? told a representative of th. “Lyttelton Times" the other day that though he had been under the impresSion that land from which kauri had Lon cleared was lit for little lie had seen on such land in the Auckland trict as good pasture as could be found in New Zealand. Large tracts of country to the north of Auckland had every possibility of developing into very good dairying country, but the roads there were atrocious. -
