Hunt Club towards trophies for the gentleman riders’ races at their annual meeting.—The assumed name of C. 11. Wallace Avas approved. Tlie sum of £l4 13s Avas voted to pay the funeral expenses of the late jockey, E. McKee. The following proposed dates Avere approved:—H.B. Jockey Club, September 28 and 29, January 2 and 3, May 3 and 4, June 21 and 22; Napier Park Racing Club, October 11 and 12, March 15 and 16, June 28 and 29 ; Wood, ville Jockey Club, December 7 and 8, February 22 and 23; Poverty Bay Turf Club, October 27 and 28, February 16 and 17; Gisborne Racing Club, February 9 and 10, July 6 and 7; Porangahau Racing Club, December 26 ; Wairoa Racing Club, February 1 and 2; Dannevirke Jockey Club, November 23 and 24, March 8 and 9 ; Waipukurau Jockey Club, April 24; Tologa Bay, March 17; WaipaAva Racing Club. November 9. Mr G. Hunter presided at the monthly meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s committee this afternoon. The HaAvke’s Bay Hunt Club Avere granted permission to hold a meeting on the Jockey Club’s course in July. It Avas decided to entertain visiting -oAvners and trainers on similar lines to those carried out at the late autumn meeting. An interim statement, showing a profit of £405 on tlie recent autumn meeting, was laid on the table. It was decided that the Aveigilts for the first day of the winter meeting be declared on June 13 (after .the Auckland races), instead of on the 10th. Mourn, Hinetaura and Pantaloon, in charge of A.
