(From Our Oavu Correspondent.) Last Aveek the annual meeting cf the parishioners of St. AndreAv’s Churchy Ahaura, was- held. The report- of the outgoing committee Avas adopted. The Bey. Mr Barnett congratulated the committee on the ayovlc they had done during their term of office-. The election of members resulted as fo-l-loAA’s: Ch'u roll warden. Mr Hargreaves; committee, Mesdames White, Brooks and Cressey, Misses Hargraves and Do Betmr. Messm Overton De Berry and Blake. The Ahaura Tennis Club met on Friday evening last and decided to hold a social on May 6th, in aid of the funds of the. dub. It is the intention of the members to have their court thoroughly renovated before next season commences. Alt the last meeting of the Land Board the Chief Commissioner, Mr G. J. Roberts, istated that in consequence of the accumulation of work connected with the applications in the Grey Valley, it would he nceessairy to hold a meeting in Ahanira at an early date. A sitting was accordingly fixed for the 25 th intet. April 28vth.
