A summary has been compiled by -Date’gety and Co., Ltd., for the. Shaw, Bavill and Albion Company, showing the export of frozen meat from New Zest-, land during the year 1903. The quantity of mutton sent away was 146.311,5281 b, compared with 128,218,6671 b in 1902: lam, 76,564,4641 b in 1903, 66,587,0211 b in 1902; beef, 21,027,4461 b larit year, compared with 32,098,7261 b during 1902'. During the second half of the year* there was exported,from Wellington 13,768,5691b' mutton, 1,673,1741 b lamb and 2,160,8461 b beef. The total export of frozen meat last year was 243,903,4381 b, an increase of nearly seventeen million pounds over the previous year.
