Tlie Special Article to be published in the next issue of the “Mail" is entitled “The Day After To-morrow,” and is from the pen of Mr W. G. Macdonald, of Capo Fotilwind. In this article the author discusses tlie Socialistic trend of the present day, with special refercnco to the effect likely to be produced upon the physique and morale of mankind in future generations. At the present time this article is sure to prove of engrossing interest.
In 1831 Britain grew 16 bushels of grain per inhabitant. Last year she grew seven bushels.
