Mr John Johnston, Mangaweka, writes to state that Mr R. E. Hornblow “was not deputed to wait on the Premier by any of tlio business people or settlers, but may havo been asked by a few dissatisfied co-operative labourers, amounting to probably half a dozen, to act in the imprudent manner ho did.” Wo cannot publish the remainder of the letter, because of its offensive tono.
