Mr Sdddon Ivas (remarks the Brisbane “Telegraph” o,f 17th January) given proof of his vigour during lids short stay here. At a meeting held to welo©me him to Brisbane, Mr Seddon said : “Our attitude in .New Zealand is —(‘Suspend your judgment.’” It is a sensible attitude in every way —for it implies a national “sitting -on a rail/’ so as to be able -to jump down on the proper, side at the proper moment.
