BRIGAND TO BE BLOWN UP.
HOME, Nov. 15. The operations of the military to destroy or capture the. notorious brigand and murderer M.ussoiino- have assumed the dimensions of a small campaign. The robber is hiding in a ca ve on Mount Asprcmonte, under the shadow of a great rock, which is only accessible to the eagle. Some 650 troops and police form a cordon round the mountain. Musxolino’s hiding place cannot even he reached by artillery, and it was thereforedecided to blow up the rock with dynamite. Preparations to this end are now proceeding, and it is intended to displace a, mass of rock 10.000 cubic metres in extent. The result is awaited everywhere with deep interest.
