NEW SOUTH WALES KENNEL CLUB ANNUAL EXHIBITION. SUCCESS OF NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITORS. SYDNEY, Wednesday. The judging waa done to-day at the Kennel Club’s exhibition. The following are the awards : Collies.—Novice class : Rogen and Andrews’s Shetland Wallace, 1; Wark’s Armourbearer, 2; Rogen and Andrews’s Silver Prince, 3. In eaoh class of Australian-bred dogs Shetland Wallace was first, and Armourbearer second. In the limit class for collies Shetland Wallace and Armourbearer were equal first; Borsdorff’s Brilliant, a Welling-ton-bred dog, was third. In the open class Borsdorff’s Orinskirk Palmbearer (imported), 1; Armourbearer, 2; Shetland Wallace, 3. This reversed the position of the New Zealand dogs in the last two classes, and is accounted for by the fact that ArmourBearer did not show up well in the first divisions, but improved later. ■ Championship.—Best collie; Ormsfeirk Palmbearer. Champion nuppydog: Armourbearer. Bitches: Rogen and Andrews’s Shetland Bessie, Shetland Grace and Shetland Beauty, first, second and third respectively. In the novice and puppy classes Rogen and Andrews’s Shetland Lass. Shetland Bessie, Shetland Grace, first, second and third respectively. English setters, open cfass; Hunter’s CPorangahau). 1; Belton Rock, 2. Bitches: Hunter’s Lady Richmond. Z ; Bfelt-on Ripler, 2. The latter took first prize in the best brace of setrtrs any variety. Retrievers.—Dr Newman, Wellinrt. n Hobson Daresith, 1 and chamnion "alsb first m the puppy class. Bitches: Dr Newman’s Tame, 1 and champion. _ Bulldogs: Moorhouse end Hunter’s .bully Salona, 1 and champion. , , Airedale Terriers.—Puppy dogs : Hunter’s, Wellington, Test, 2; also first in the open class. Cocker Spaniels.—Ernest Fitts’s Djin Djin, second.
DUNEDIN, Friday. Mr Williams, in charge of the providoring department of the Union Steam Ship Company, has received news by cable that he has gained two championships, foui firsts and two third-class prizes for black field Spaniers at the Sydney Kennel Show.
