HOCKEY.
On Saturday the United first beat the Wellington first by four goals (all scored by Hickson) to one goal, scored by Cooper. The Wellington second scored eigid goals in it 3 match against United second. For the winners Menzies scored tin t*. Hutchison two, Page, vV afters and Bridge one each. For United King and McLeai each scored goals.
