Note. —ln all flat races, excepting Settlers' and Members' Handicaps, the minimum weight will be 7st. All second and third money deducted from the stakes. The handicapper has power to re-handicap all winners alter the declaration of weights and throughout the meeting. The winner of any event prior to the 28th December will be re-handicapped, and handicap declared at the Empire Hotel, on the night of that date. Weights for the first day's handicaps will be declared at the same place on THURSDAY, 17th December. Acceptances close at the same place on WEDNESDAY, 23rd December, at 7 p.m. Weights for the second day's handicaps will be declaied at the Empire Hotel on the night of the first day's races. Acceptances will close at the same place at a time to be specified when weights are posted. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations and Acceptances must be accompanied by the proper fees, otherwise they may be rejected. In entering, the colour, sex, name, age, pedigree and previous performances, and colours to be worn by the rider must be stated ; also the number of race to be entered for. Special attention is requested to this rule. 2. A Hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (Hack and Hunter races excepted) and is not nominated in any race other than Hack or Hunter races at the time of nomination. 3.
