THE PETONE MURDER.

Now that the prisoner Stephen Bosher has been convicted of bigamy and sent to gaol the charge of murdering Mr and Mrs Jones at Petcne will be preferred against him.

The difficulty in regard to the second Mrs Bosher not being able to tender evidence in the murder case—in the event of a oase being brought—if she was his lawful wife has now been overcome. The unfortunate woman, who has been the victim of circumstances, is in an unpleasant position, and, moreover, is in delicate health. She will be summoned to give evidence against Bosher when she is in a condition to attend.

It is considered improbable that the matter will be investigated during the present sessions of the Supreme Court.
