London, November 13. The Bank of England returns, published to-day, show the total reserve to be <£25,718,000 (£278,000 more than last week), the proportion of reserve to liabilities being 52*40 per cent. (0*44 more than last week). Three months’ bills are discounted at 35-ths per cent., a rise of 1-lGth per cent. The following are the latest quotations for Government securities :

Frozen meat is unchanged. Hemp is firm—good Wellington at .£l6 ss. The English wheat market is firm with an upward tendency; Continental and American show a general advance; red winter is quoted at 92 cents. Colonial oats of fine quality average 26s ; common, 21s. Beans, 335. Sugar is steady—Germany beet, 9s 7ld ; Java, 11s. No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.o.b. in Clyde, 48s 3d. Butter is dull at 9Ss to 104 s; Banish unchanged.
