There were 110 passengers from Sydney by the Wakatipu on Tuesday, (iff of whom were for Wellington. A large number of shearers were among the steerage passengers.
Two more ejectors for the new drainage scheme will arrive in Wellington shortly by the ship Soukar from England.
Messrs Nelson, Moate and Co. (Limited) have removed to their new premises, at the corner of Grey and Featberston streets. A church parade of the Wellington College Cadets, headed by the Garrison Band, will bo held on Sunday next, St. Peter’s being the place of worship.
