WEDDING AT ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL.

A large number of people attended at Sfc. Mary's Cathedral yesterday week, when Miss Mary Agnes Kelly, daughter of Mr Kelly, Guildford terrace, was married to Mr Arthur Rigby Bunny, solicitor, of Masterton. The church was effectively decorated, especially the High Altar, which was profus'ely furnished with arum liliea. As the bridal party entered the Cathedral, Mr S. Cimino played the "Silver Trumpet March " on the organ. The wedding ceremony performed, a Nuptial Mass was celebrated, which was fully choral, the Cathedral choir attending as a mark of esteem to Miss Kelly, who has been organist of St. Mary's for six years, and connected with the choir for several more. Mozart's Kyrie (Kb. 11) was sung by the choir, and a trio, Cherubim's Ad te Levavi, during the offertory by Miss Pender and Messrs C. Laishley and Loughnan. The benedictus was from Gounod's Messe Solenelle, Niedermayer's Paternoster followed, and the Agnus Dei from Webb's sth Mass, Eossi's Magnificat being given after the service. The solo parts were taken by Miss Gibbs, Mrs Swift and Messrs Laishley, Loughnan and McManaway. As the bridal procession left the church Mr Cimino played Mendelssohn's " Wedding March." The bride, who was dressed in ivory satin trimmed with very valuable Limerick lace and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of white azaleas and roses, was attended by three bridesmaids Misses Katie Wriggles worth, Delia Fitzgerald and Theo Schnapter—all in white muslin dresses trimmed with Valenciennes lace, with white chiffon hats with plume 3 and pink poppies. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome bracelet of diamonds and sapphires, and to the bridesmaids amethyst and topaz bangles. Mr E. W. Broad fulfilled the office of best man.

The officiating priest was the Very Bev Father Dawson, Administrator of the diocese, and he was assisted by Fathers McKenna (2) and Costello. A wedding breakfast and reception were held at the house of the bride's mother, and were largely attended. The wedding presents were numerous and handsome. Mr and Mrs Bunny left in the afternoon for a honeymoon tour through the North Island. Mrs Bunny's travelling dress was a French costume of fawn grey silk and large picture hat.
