Localities from which tiiey came: Wellington, 1030; suburbs, 91; Hutt (Upper and Power), 41; ships, 30 ; Pelone, 30; Masterton, 19; Palmerston North, 17; Otakiand Pahiatua, 15 each; Shannon, 11. Religions to which the patients belonged:—Church of England, 700; Roman Catholic, 330 ; Presbyterian, 185 ; Wesleyan, 109 j Salvation Army, 28; Primitive Methodist, 20; Baptist, 15; Lutheran, 11 ; Brethren, 12; Church of Christ, 10; Confucian, 8 ; Methodist, G ; Congregational, 5; Hebrew, 1; Seventh Day Advenfete and
Bible Christians, two each ; Nonconformist j and Dissenter, one each ; no religion at all, i 12. The receipts for the year amounted to j £11,525 Os Id, including a balance of £llOs Ills 7d from last year.
