The weekly meeting of the Women’s Social and Political League was held in tho Exchange Buildings on Tuesday. Mrs R. J. Seddon occupied tho chair, and there was a large attendance. Several new members were elected and nominations received. Mcsdames Schoch and O'Sullivan and Miss Williams were appointed delegates to t lie meeting to he held to consider the proposal to form a Liberal Association. The resolutions passed at the previous meeting for tho same purpose were endorsed. A paper, written by Mrs Wilson, entitled “ Vital Questions ” was read by Mrs O’Sullivan and much appreciated. Mesitames Moore, Kennedy Macdonald and Weiss took part in the discussion which followed.
