According to the London Iron and Stool Journal and the Iron Ago the British tin plate trade with America is dwindling away. The United States took only 0980 tons in February, 1896, as against 23,201 tons in tho same month of 18-16. The tin plate industry in tho United States is displacing tho British trade and it has como to a stand.
