CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR RALLY.
A junior Christian Endeavour Rally was hold in tlie Vivian street Baptist Church on Monday. About 150 Endeavourors were present, mostly juniors. The address took the form of a “ chalk talk ” from the leader, Mr H. W. Horsley, the subject being "Tho Heart.” During the meeting duets were sung by members of the Kent tcrraco Presbyterian an 1 Thorndon Wesleyan Churches. The Bible reading was taken by a Kent terrace junior. The following junior societies responded to the roll call : John-on-vil!<-, Sydn y street, Thorndon Wesleyan, Bapti.-t. Kent terrace and Karori. These proceedings were followed by a tea in the schoolroom, and at 7.30 a Senior Rally was belli, presided over by the Rev C. Dallaslon, the organist being Mr W. Baddon. “The Look-Out Committee ” was tho subject of two papers read by members of the Thorndon Wesleyan Society. Then a member of St. John’s Presbyterian read a paper on “ The Pledge.” These paper* were followed by a discussion ; each speaker was allowed two minutes. Tho Baptist Society tendered a paper on “ The Relation of the Prayer Meeting Committee to the Society.” In the intervals between the papers musical items were rendered —Aliss J. Williams, from the Baptist Society', sang a solo, and four members of the Thorndon AVesleyan sang a quartette.
