KILLED WITH A HATCHET.
Paris, Alay 24. Two persons named Castel, a man and his wife, convoyed to Paris from Courbovoio a trunk containing the nakod corpse of a young man. Suspicion was aroused by tho smell, and tho trunk was opened by the officials. Castels explained that they had cn employed to couvey the body in a trunk to avoid the expense of a coilia; but as they gave a false address tlioy were arrested. 'The corpse has been identified as nat of a man named Delachaif. The discovery has caused a sensation in the city. Paris, Alay 25. Tho Castels have confessed to tho murder, and state that they used a hatchet to commit tho crime.
Delachaif was a stamp collector, ami they appoiutod a meeting with him to arrange a sale, lie bought stamps to tho value of £3OO, and portion of the money was found ou tho male prisoner.
