THE SHAH MURDERED.
Teheran, May 2. The Shall of Persia, Masir-ed-Din, has been murdered. Molla Reza shot tho Shah while he was entering the Azim Mosque, and the latter died two hours later from the wounds he received. MuzalVer succeeds him, but it is expected that Mi/./.a will contest the succession. Order prevails in the city. Re/.a, who belongs to the society called " B.tlii," and who has made four previous attempts on the life of the Shah, has been arrested,

Russia and 'turkey have recognised Muzaffer as successor to the Shah. Paris, May 3.
The President of Prance has sent a message of condolence to the new Shah upon the death of his father.
